These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gaumo mobile application and related services ("Gaumo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Gaumo, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Gaumo is operated by Alexander Turbin, an individual developer based in Germany. Contact: hello-gaumo@parrotlabs.xyz.
Gaumo is a food discovery platform that helps diners find standout dishes at local venues. You can browse venues and dishes, rate what you try, save favorites, and contribute new dishes and venues.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you register. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Gaumo.
3. Your content
When you submit ratings, comments, photos, venue notes, or other content ("User Content"), you grant Gaumo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. You retain ownership of your User Content.
You agree not to post content that is illegal, misleading, harassing, or infringes others' rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems
- Use Gaumo for unlawful purposes
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
5. Intellectual property
Gaumo, its branding, and the underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or code.
6. Third-party services
Gaumo may use third-party services (for example, map and place search providers, cloud storage, and error reporting). Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's terms.
7. Disclaimers
Gaumo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Menu items, prices, and ratings are user-generated or venue-provided and may be inaccurate or outdated. Always confirm details with the venue.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gaumo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Account deletion
You may delete your account from Profile settings. When you delete your account, we mask your personal information and remove your saved items and credentials. Your dish ratings may remain in anonymized form to preserve aggregate scores. See our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish a new version and may ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use Gaumo.
